NORMALIZING MENTAL HEALTH

As with some trending news, this #mental health issue also became a trend. Lots of people tweet about it, many discuss it but this just means “that section” of gossip which people talk and forgot and then the new Hashtags trends.

The reality is our mind is part of our own body. As taking care of each part of our body we visit a doctor like if having a problem with any bone on muscle tissue we go to orthopedic or to the dentist for our teeth issue and etcetera.

If it is normal to visit a particular doctor according to body issue then why not a psychiatrist in the case of the brain. The brain is as our own as our other parts and organs it is even more important than just the rest of the parts.

For a fact: “It’s a myth that we only use only10% of our brainsWe actually use all of it, even when we are sleeping. Neurologists confirm that our brain is always active.”

We take tablets for cold or for headache, so why can’t we have treatment after for the brain or why so having therapy or counseling is bad.

The main problem is not about doctors and treatment availability or patient’s awareness

Maybe he or she does aware of their issues and know the need to go to the doctor but the problem is in the damn society which does not let that individual to take that step and forces him or her to take another alternative that is suicide or result in a severe mental issue

To change this, to make it normal, we the society need to open up and let the people of our surroundings feel that it’s OK to have mental health issues like a stomach health issue. We need to reach this level of normalcy to avoid any drastic step by our loved ones

Ok tell me one thing, when was the last time you hugged your kids? or your parents? or your friend? or your sibling? and said that “I love you❤” and “no matter what happened I am always there for you”.

It’s not that all the mental problems need to get solved by a psychiatrist, but many times it can be solved by just one HUG or one SMILE or by just saying that “It’s ok, we are with you”

I know even without saying this you are going to be with them in their all ups and downs but sometimes Words Matters. Try this and tell me what you feel I hope you got my point and you are ready to make a change in our society.
