    NORMALIZING MENTAL HEALTH

As with some trending news, this #mental health issue also became a trend. Lots of people tweet about it, many discuss it but this just means “that section” of gossip which people talk and forgot and then the new Hashtags trends.

The reality is our mind is part of our own body. As taking care of each part of our body we visit a doctor like if having a problem with any bone on muscle tissue we go to orthopedic or to the dentist for our teeth issue and etcetera.

If it is normal to visit a particular doctor according to body issue then why not a psychiatrist in the case of the brain. The brain is as our own as our other parts and organs it is even more important than just the rest of the parts.

For a fact: “It’s a myth that we only use only10% of our brainsWe actually use all of it, even when we are sleeping. Neurologists confirm that our brain is always active.”

We take tablets for cold or for headache, so why can’t we have treatment after for the brain or why so having therapy or counseling is bad.

The main problem is not about doctors and treatment availability or patient’s awareness

Maybe he or she does aware of their issues and know the need to go to the doctor but the problem is in the damn society which does not let that individual to take that step and forces him or her to take another alternative that is suicide or result in a severe mental issue

To change this, to make it normal, we the society need to open up and let the people of our surroundings feel that it’s OK to have mental health issues like a stomach health issue. We need to reach this level of normalcy to avoid any drastic step by our loved ones

Ok tell me one thing, when was the last time you hugged your kids? or your parents? or your friend? or your sibling? and said that “I love you❤” and “no matter what happened I am always there for you”.

It’s not that all the mental problems need to get solved by a psychiatrist, but many times it can be solved by just one HUG or one SMILE or by just saying that “It’s ok, we are with you”

I know even without saying this you are going to be with them in their all ups and downs but sometimes Words Matters. Try this and tell me what you feel I hope you got my point and you are ready to make a change in our society.

  • “Sundials: The Original Solar-Powered Timekeepers”

Imagine this: You’re in your garden, sipping lemonade, and instead of glancing at your phone or watch, you look at a shadow dancing across a cool little stone circle in the grass. It’s not magic—it’s a sundial!

Long before we had digital watches and smartphones to tell us the time, people used something much simpler and a lot cooler: sundials. These ancient tools used the sun to keep track of the hours—and they did it with just a shadow! Let’s explore how sundials work, their history, and why they’re still fascinating today.

    What is a Sundial?

A sundial is a device used in ancient times to tells the time without using machine or any kind of batteries. They just needed one thing, the Sun. Basically device tracks the position of the Sun in the sky by casting a shadow on a flat surface marked with the hours of the day. As the sun moves across the sky throughout the day, the shadow moves too.

    How Does it Work?

At the centre plate of a sundial is the gnomon that is aligned with the Earth’s axis and points toward true north. The gnomon sticks up at centre and casts a shadow onto the dial, which is marked with hour lines. Wherever the shadow falls, that’s your solar time.

    A Brief History of Sundials

Sundials go back over 3,500 years. The ancient Egyptians used obelisks as massive time indicators. The Greeks and Romans improved on the design, making portable sundials that could travel across the empire. In fact, sundials were the most accurate timekeeping devices for centuries—until mechanical clocks came around in the 14th century.

    Sundials Around the World

    • Ancient China used sundials as part of their astronomical observations.
    • Islamic scholars in the Middle Ages used sundials to determine prayer times.
    • Incas and Mayans aligned their temples with the sun to track time and seasons.
    • Sundials weren’t just clocks—they were scientific tools, spiritual symbols, and sometimes even public art.

Why Sundials are Still Cool Today

    • They’re Sustainable: No electricity needed!
    • They’re Educational: Great for teaching kids about Earth’s rotation, geometry, and history.
    • They’re Beautiful: Many are stunning pieces of garden art or architecture.
    • They’re a Great Conversation Starter: Imagine telling your guests, “Oh, I check the time by my sundial.”

    Make Your Own!

Want to make a simple sundial at home?

    All you need is:

    1. A stick (or pencil)

    2. A paper plate or piece of cardboard

    3. A sunny spot

Stick the pencil vertically in the center of the plate, mark the shadow of pencil tip every hour, and label it. You’ve just built your own DIY time machine!

    Final Thoughts

Sundials may be an ancient concept, but they’re not outdated. They remind us that even the high technology world we live in today still works on the rhythm of the sun. Next time you see one in a garden or park, give it a closer look—it’s telling time the old-fashioned (and very cool) way.

  • “Home Edition: Summer Decor Must-Haves for a Cool Vibe”

Summer just arrived and while you’re sipping on cold coffee and dreaming about a beach vacation, don’t forget that your home deserves a summer glow-up too. A few easy swaps and sunshine-friendly updates can make your space feel fresh, light, and so chill (literally and aesthetically).

Ready to give your home those breezy beach house vibes—without moving to Goa? Let’s go!

    1. Sheer Curtains = Instant Summer Feels

Say goodbye to heavy drapes that trap heat like they’re storing it for winter. It’s time for sheer or linen curtains in whites, soft greys, or dreamy pastels. Not only do they let that glorious sunlight in, but they also make your room feel bigger and brighter. When they flutter with the fan breeze—pure summer magic.

Try this: Stand in front of them, play your favorite chill playlist, and pretend you’re in a slow-mo movie scene. Works every time.

      2. Pastel Cushions & Throws (Your Couch’s Summer Wardrobe)

No more maroons or dark blues—it’s all about mint, peach, sky blue, lemon, and lavender this season. Quickest way to update your space is just swapping or throwing out cushion covers.
Give your cushions a light color makeover. And let’s be real, who doesn’t love an excuse to buy more soft stuff?

Pro tip: Mix textures—cotton, jute, and linen—for that luxe-but-laidback vibe.

        3. Indoor Plants = Summer’s Natural AC

Want a summer upgrade that instantly cools down your room and purifies your air? Say hello to indoor plants. Snake plants, pothos, and ferns are low-maintenance and look extremely good in rattan pots or jute baskets. Making your environment cool and purified with such plants is a win-win situation.

        4. Lightweight, Breezy Bedding

You can’t have a chill summer if your bed feels like a winter cave. Time to have some light colour and soft patterns sheets. These breathable fabrics keep you cool all night long and look super fresh.

Idea: Pair with a light floral or ocean-printed quilt. Instant summer dreamland.

          5. Wicker, Rattan & All Things Natural

Natural textures like rattan chairs, wicker baskets, and bamboo trays are basically summer’s unofficial home décor. They bring in a beachy, organic vibe and go with literally everything.

Decor Hack: Use a woven tray to style your center table. Just add a candle, a book, and a mini plant. Instant Pinterest goals.

            6. Summer Scents to Set the Mood

A room doesn’t just need to look like summer—it should smell like it too. Think coconut, citrus, sea salt, or fresh lavender in the form of candles, diffusers, or room sprays.

Mood tip: Light a candle, play ocean wave sounds, and mentally teleport to your dream beach.

              7. Minimalist Table Settings

Keep it light and easy—just like summer evenings. Go for simple placemats, ceramic plates, and a small vase of fresh flowers. Dinner feels fancier, even if it’s just a sandwich and a mango popsicle.

Pro tip: Citrus slices and some mint leaves in a glass jug of water = instant summer centerpiece.

                8. Rugs That Won’t Weigh You Down

Your thick, woolly winter rug deserves a vacation. Replace it with a light cotton or jute rug in sandy tones, light grey, or sea blue. It’ll keep your feet happy and your space looking cool.

Easy win: Washable rugs are a thing now—and yes, they’re a blessing.

                  Final Thoughts:
Summer decorating isn’t about spending a fortune—it’s about creating a vibe. A feeling. A space where you can kick off your slippers, sip something cold, and feel like you’re living inside a calm, breezy Instagram reel.

So go ahead—light that candle, fluff those pillows, and let summer in.
